National Admin-Assistant Appreciation Day!!
So, I came to work today in a bad mood. I was fighting with my hair to do something, ANYTHING normal so I could leave the house. And, I'm sure I was short with Seth - And traffic was awful. So, Beau - my boss has me come into his office to discuss inventory. Then, he calls in Renee, my semi-boss, to discuss this and that. At the end of our conversation he asks me, "So, Amanda -do you have lunch plans today?" "No" - I responded cautiously... "Well, Good", he exclaims, "It's National Admin-Assistant Appreciation Day and we are taking you to lunch. Your choice!" Yay!!!!!! We went to Little Tokyo. I was very satisfied with the day and proud to have been remembered. And then, my boss came in with this awesome flower deal for me!! : ) I love flowers. And these are perfect for my desk....
And for all of you who have ever wondered what my office looks like.. here are some pictures of my desk area. Its pretty spacious.
Happy Admin Day to me!!! And you too if you are an Admin-Assistant!!

The Delta
This weekend our friend Chris and Hayden got married!! I love all weddings, but the ones that let me reunite with some of our really good life long friends make it even better! These are friends Seth has had since the beginning of college and we have stayed close, even though we only see each about twice a year! We are just so thankful for the friendship we have with this group and they are such an encouragement to us.
This is a picture of the "wives" as of now! Miss you guys already!!
Nathan and Seth....

Mexico!
Our journey in Mexico! This is an understatement - but the Lord, Our God is so good! Parras de la Fuente is such a beautiful place! There is still so much to unpack... maybe these picture will tell some of the story. We spent a couple of days ministering to a local Church there and helping clean out and paint their new Church! We got to visit the Mexico Outreach Center and see how the Lord is going to use that for His glory and for His name to be spread throughout Mexico!
Here is a picture of us in cold - waiting for the sun to rise over Parras.

Isn't this glorious? While we were praying someone said that they prayed that God's light would cover this city much like this sunrise is! True, and Amen!

So, while we were on our to the camping in the mountains, we stopped at the village and took some food to this little girls family... and her mother made these awesome headbands/wraps I am wearing! And this little girl about stole my heart... she is beautiful!
This is the same village, where I am passing out candy to childern who were so happy to see us!!! It was so fun - but so overwhelming to see all these little hands begging for candy!
So, we go camping in the moutains... which were an amazing display of God's creation - and this is where Seth slept... finally got to use that hammock we bought him!
