Weekend/Diaper Shower!

What a fun weekend!

Friday Night: Date with Seth at Yoko's! Yummmm!! I really did enjoy it so much and its SO close to our house! We had never been before, but I know we'll be going back. I love nights where we can go out at a good time, enjoy a great meal and be home by 7! I know, 7 is early - but I was so tired Friday night after work that I just wanted to be home. So, we watched Robin Hood. : ) I'm trying to get used to watching "boy movies" since I'm going to be the mother of one soon... but I still can't really get into a whole movie about war! Seth really enjoyed it though, so it was worth watching.

Saturday: Great day with friends at my diaper shower. I really do have the best friends in the entire world. Each of them is absolutley beautiful and so unique! So, we had a great day and I felt so blessed by all the diapers we were given!! I feel much more prepared for Hayes now. Thanks girls! Here are some pictures from the shower:

Here are all the hosts with me... yes, my face really looks that PREGNANT. Can't do anything about it... haha!

Me and Jenna... sweet sweet Jenna!

Other great friends, enjoying the amazing food...

Sunday: Well, believe it or not - I was exhausted Sunday from all the showering on Saturday. But, Mom was here... so after church we went shopping and had a good time (although I was no fun!). Then, OEC for dinner... Yes, Japanese food twice in one weekend... it was amazing. I'm enjoying this last bit of eating more than I would ever let myself, since I'm already bigger than I hope to ever be again!!

Really looking forward to this week - maybe I'll do one big post on Thursday/Friday to tell you all about it. Great things in store for this week!

OH and today we are at 36 weeks! I never thought we'd get here!! I hear that this is when time stops and I'll feel like the next 4 weeks take forever... but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel and will have to be here soon!!! Be praying for us as we get all the small details worked out and prepare to bring Hayes home.

Five Things Friday

I'm going along with this trend I've seen on some of my friends blogs.
These are my 5 favorite things this week:

5. Japanese Food.
Tonight we are going to Yoko Japanese Steakhouse in Brandon! I'm so excited about 1) a date with my husband and 2) my favorite meal - chicken hibachi.

4.  Body Pillow
This is the only way I can sleep now. I'm so thankful for this each night. It was also a Christmas present from Seth... which makes it sweeter to me.
3. Vanilla Chapstick
I'm just addicted... it is the best.

2. Gungor's You make beautiful things
I have listened to this song to start my day out in a calm mood and praising the Lord just about every day this week. And it makes me smile/cry because the Lord is making something new and beautiful in me right now - out of dust (baby Hayes). Such a neat feeling. The creator is creating in me...

1. Special Breakfast with Seth
This morning Seth and I cooked hash-browns, sausage and eggs. And we made really yummy Dunkin Donuts Coffee - which is my favorite. And I had chocolate milk. Yum. Yum.

Love him.

Busy Weekend

Being married to a worship leader usually means that at least once a year, we get to go to a Disciple Now Weekend (DNow). So, Seth got the call a couple of months back and asked The Movement band to come with him. It was so fun - the band was incredible and I know it was a big blessing to the students. Worship was beautiful and I am so proud of the way the Lord uses Seth in allowing students to worship Him!

We did this Friday night and all day Saturday. Although, I decided to join the Crossgates Girls Ministry for a service morning at We Will Go Ministries in downtown Jackson. I had not seen Mrs. Amy (whose family started the ministry) since I'd been pregnant, so we had a great time catching up about that! But, being able to serve with our students and pray for some people in the area was such a blessing and encouragement to me. I love being able to serve in that way - and should go more often!

Sunday! Busy as usual, but wonderful! That night, we had a little birthday party for my beautiful friend Brittney Lide! I made a cake - from scratch - why? Just to prove to myself that I could! It was not very attractive looking, but everyone said it was wonderful : ) Yay. I'm becoming braver in the Kitchen... this could mean good things for my family or scary things... we'll keep you updated! Here is a picture of the cake:

And we are now 35 weeks pregnant!! Hayes will be here so soon!! I'm not sure that I really know what we're in for, but I know we're excited and that I'm very ready to get this journey started.

Updates...

I'm a terrible blogger... So - today you will get a ton of updates!

So much has happened since our post. I'm 34 weeks pregnant now - and very read for William Hayes Price to arrive! His room has been painted and is almost done being decorated! We have a few final touches, then we will be all done!! Seth and I beyond excited and ready for this baby to arrive. Your prayers are much appreciated!!

Jeremy becomes a Lawyer!
So, in November, my brother Jeremy past the bar and was sworn in to be a lawyer! Yay - Congrats Jeremy! It was a very joyful day for my family and here are some neat pictures.

So proud of you Jeremy! So, if you need a lawyer - Call him!

Barlow Thanksgiving/Christmas
The Holidays were so exciting for us! All of my family came to Brandon for Thanksgiving and then we all traveled to Hattiesburg to see our families there. We went to my Aunt Margarette's house and ate amazing food and then all played some crazy bag toss game that I was terrible at  - but the boys in my life loved. Baby Peyton got to meet lots of his cousins for the first time and he was just precious! Then, my family all came back to Brandon and had Christmas the next day, after shopping and finding great deals on Black Friday, of course. Having LeLe and Peyton at Christmas was so fun and we can't wait till Hayes is with them all next year!

The entire family! What a nice looking group!
Sweet Susan, Papa Gerald and me.
Me and my brothers with Baby Peyton
The bag toss game - My dad, 2 brothers and husbands all played a round together.

Sweet baby Peyton and Susan at Barlow Christmas - getting ready to open presents!

Price Christmas

Then, Seth and I had our own Christmas on Christmas Eve morning. I love waking him up early so I can go open presents. Seth is such a thoughtful gift giver - and he made me the coolest window thing to put all my jewelry on! We still have yet to hang in it the bathroom - but we will - and I am looking forward to being able to see all my earrings! I know that sounds silly to all you boys,  but I know the girls understand. We both got new shoes and other happies. Seth got a drill/saw/thing - that he has already put to great use!

After our Christmas, we traveled to Kosciusko for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!! Everyone knows how much I love Kosciusko and its "magic" and this Christmas was no different! We had a great time with all of Seth's family and were so excited about our fun Christmas presents. We had Christmas morning breakfast with Melinda's family, which is such a fun and relaxed time. Then, we napped around till dinner and had an amazing dinner at Seth's Aunt Peggy's house - with all of Papa  Earl's family. There are 9 (I think) little boys that are so fun - and they always keep us on our toes, but each of them are so sweet and I'm excited Hayes will have some buddies to play with in the upcoming years!

Our Christmas Tree - I know its blurry, but I wanted you to be able to see the lights!
The pretty mantle - yes, Melinda painted that Santa Clause - we love it!!

Haha - Look how pregnant I am! There he is!
Seth already putting that drill to use....
 My jewelry window!
This is Maggie, Seth's dog in Kosciusko - opening her presents!

Finally - As many of you know, Seth wears these shoes out! So, he really needed some new ones!
Seth's parents started a neat tradition for us last year. Crossgates always does an awesome missions giving during the Christmas season, and the Prices donate/give in our name and always have some sort of item for us to remember it buy.

Seth's new pedal board! Whoo hoo! Now all his pedals can fit on one board!!

BabyMoon

Seth and I had some time off after Christmas and decided we'd travel to Gatlinburg. We had so much  - it snowed a lot which led us to many new adventures and lots of stories. But, overall - we enjoyed being able to relax and just spend this time together before, as everyone says, life changes forever (for the better).

 Our cabin! Isn't it pretty!!

Cade's Cove...

Kosciusko Baby Shower

Seth's Aunt Peggy and cousin Pam through us the sweetest brunch. So many of Melinda's friend and family came and blessed us in such a huge way. We had a great time and are so thankful for each thoughtful gift and blessing we received. Not to mention, the food was so yummy!

Well - You should be pretty up to date on our life now! I hope to blog more often, but I can't promise that!! So, enjoy!! Baby Hayes will be in about 6 weeks, so maybe I will blog some of that experience!
